  • That's the best authenticator so far, it supports exporting your valut in an encrypted file or non-encrypted file, allows you to see your 2FA TOTP key and modify settings etc, and supports importing from various authenticators, and supports valut icons and groups/categories, and has a very simple and user-friendly UI/UX!, This app is so underrated and needs more attention! it would've been way better if there was a option to sign in and save your 2fa totp keys online just in case you lost your phone etc

  • Replaced Authy with this, but kept Microsoft Authenticator for easy sign in, everything else I have Aegis handle. Only thing I miss from Authy is its icon type layout - not a fan of lists, even with the filter option. Be nice to have it auto select an icon for the service or website too rather than just use plain icons, but that's a personal preference. I'll prob change them manually when I have the time. Otherwise great app, keep up the good work!

  • Awesome app, I've used a lot of authenticators over the years, and Aegis of hands-down the best. The UI is fast, clean and practical. The import/ export feature makes switching to a new device easy. More importantly, it is open source with clear accessible code on GitHub, and there are zero trackers and very minimal permissions- meaning this app is great for privacy and security. It's fast, stable and appears to be mostly bug-free. This is now the only 2FA authenticator I recommend for Android

  • Available on F-Droid as it is open source. Get it there. Don't depend on Google. It has the most features out of the open-source ones, and the only one with fingerprint auth out of those anyone can trust. Because no cloud, as it should be. You don't want to lose an account? Export a backup, and upload to the cloud drive you trust. Maybe don't copy with tap when tap to reveal is used, but only minor issues...

  • Aegis is my go-to app for two-factor authentication (2FA). It's super easy to use and has tons of great features, like quick tiles and app icons for different services. But my favorite thing about Aegis is the backup file feature. This makes it super easy to switch devices or recover your accounts if you lose your phone. I highly recommend Aegis to anyone who wants a secure and easy-to-use 2FA app.

  • Great App. Problems: if the user has biometrics enabled, then that should make biometric authentication present itself as the first option (default) for login. Having to swipe away the keyboard that opens automatically when the app is opened, then select biometric authentication, then do the biometric authentication is neither logical or convinient. Also having some account recognition that would display the appropriate icon for each "common icon at the least" would almost perfect this app
