Owen Jones, Mojang Studios’ director of creative communications, highlighted that viewers can expect new game reveals during the stream. The studio has committed to providing several free game drops throughout the year, moving away from the previous single summer release model.

Fans can tune in to Minecraft Live 2024 via YouTube, Twitch, or the official Minecraft website. The livestream will be broadcast in English from Mojang's headquarters in Sweden, with translations in languages such as Simplified Chinese, French, and Spanish to be made available later. In addition to showcasing new content and discussing future updates, Mojang may provide further insights into the port of Minecraft for the Sony PS5. A preview of this version indicated enhancements like improved graphics settings and native 4K resolution support.
