Frame Break and Amplifier Studios have revealed that a major update for Lightyear Frontier, titled "Neighbors and Animals," is set to launch by the end of September 2024. This substantial update promises to enrich the game with new wildlife, characters, decorations, and more, further expanding the game's universe.

Blending traditional farming simulation mechanics with a sci-fi twist, Lightyear Frontier offers players a tranquil, combat-free environment focused on resource management and exploration. Players control customizable mechs to cultivate crops, gather resources, and enhance their farms, while also collaborating in co-op mode to build and explore with friends. Since its release in 2023, the game has received various updates to expand its content and address issues.

What to Expect in the Neighbors and Animals Update

The "Neighbors and Animals" update will introduce players to new alien neighbors and provide deeper insights into the planet’s ecosystem. A standout feature of this update is the introduction of Ulf, a botanist dedicated to studying the planet’s plant life.
