This season promises an array of new features, from stylish BMW cars to eerie car accessories, all centered around a theme of legendary creatures like Sasquatch and Chupacabra.

With every new season, developer Psyonix brings fresh life to the free-to-play vehicular soccer game. Past seasons have showcased a wide variety of themes, from the vibrant, comic-inspired vibe of Season 6 to the relaxed, chill atmosphere of Season 10. The current season features a bold punk aesthetic, but Season 16 is set to take a different turn, diving into the world of horror folklore with its newly unveiled content.

Psyonix is infusing Rocket League with a darker, more mysterious atmosphere in Season 16, featuring items that celebrate mythical creatures from popular legends. A notable addition is the Drift Woods arena, where matches will unfold at dusk in a haunting forest setting. Players can also look forward to two new vehicles joining the lineup—the BMW 1 Series and BMW 1 Series RLE—both of which can be outfitted with spooky accessories like Sasquatch Print Wheels and the Mothman Decal. Moreover, the developers are introducing an enhanced post-demolition camera that follows the destroyed car’s path to its respawn point. Season 16 is scheduled to run until December 4, 2024.
