KartRider: Drift Season 3 mid-season update introduces fresh circuits and balancing adjustments

Nexon and Nitro Studios have unleashed the Season 3 mid-season update for the popular casual kart racing game, KartRider: Drift. This update brings a host of exciting new features, including additional tracks, balance changes, and various quality-of-life enhancements that enhance the gameplay experience.

The Catch Me If You Can update introduces two brand-new tracks: Forest: Misty Falls and WKC: Mexico Touring Rally. Nexon has also pledged to release new tracks on a monthly basis, starting with this update, keeping the game fresh and engaging for players.

In addition to the new tracks, Nexon has implemented several other improvements for players to enjoy:

- The introduction of a new system called Momentum, which rewards players with in-game prizes as they level up. Racers will receive rewards based on their Racer Level, which is earned by participating in races within the game. These Level Rewards will be granted as players' Momentum Level reaches certain milestones, with a maximum level of Lv. 500.

- Players now have the ability to use emojis during the post-race awards ceremony, allowing them to truly express their joy and celebration after a victory.

- A new feature called Quick Chat Favorites has been added, making it easier for players to communicate with each other during races.

Furthermore, the Flag Mode challenge has been adjusted based on user feedback. Players now have a total of 2.5 minutes instead of 2 minutes to win 5 races in Flag Mode, making it slightly more achievable. To celebrate the start of Season 3, Nexon is also offering unique prizes.
