MultiVersus Season 2 is set to introduce a variety of new content and features for players to enjoy. The update will offer fresh skins for popular characters like Garnet, Superman, and Bugs Bunny, allowing fans to customize their favorite fighters with unique looks. Additionally, the highly anticipated character Samurai Jack will be joining the MultiVersus roster, and players will be able to unlock him through the premium tier of the battle pass. Alongside these new additions, Season 2 will also include a much-requested Ranked Mode, as well as a host of rewards, events, and the introduction of the iconic Beetlejuice as a playable character.
MultiVersus has revealed the rewards for the Season 2 battle pass, including new skins for eight characters. MultiVersus returned after a year's hiatus, bringing players new characters, modes, and events. MultiVersus Season 1 also included a battle pass with new rewards, such as cosmetics for the characters.
LeBron James, Stripe, Jason Voorhees, Reindog, Velma, Jake the Dog, Taz, and Steven Universe were the Multiversus fighters who got new skins with the release of the Season 1 battle pass. Jason, who debuted on MultiVersus along with the Joker and Agent Smith, received two skins. Matrix Code Jason Voorhees gave the fighter a look inspired by The Matrix movie, while Uber Jason is based on a futuristic version of the character of the same name. With MultiVersus Season 1 ending, the devs revealed the rewards that will be up for grabs in the next MultiVersus pass.
During the Season 2 rundown livestream, MultiVersus showcased the upcoming pass, featuring new skins and other rewards. MultiVersus players can expect all-new cosmetics for Garnet, Black Adam, Steven Universe, Bugs Bunny, Gizmo, Jake, Finn, Superman, and Samurai Jack, which will be unlockable at tiers 3, 10, 17, 22, 35, 50, 57, 64, and 70, respectively. Like the MultiVersus Season 1 battle pass, the second season pass will have 70 tiers.
*Garnet - Tier 3
*Black Adam - Tier 10
*Steven Universe - Tier 17
*Bugs Bunny - Tier 22
*Gizmp - Tier 35
*Jake the Dog - Tier 50

One of the big new additions for Season 2, Samurai Jack will finally join the MultiVersus roster. As the devs did with Jason Voorhees' debut in the first MultiVersus season, Samurai Jack will be unlocked at the first level of the premium tier of the battle pass. The skin of the final tier of the MultiVersus Season 2 pass will be an outfit that fans saw in 2017 with the airing of the fifth and final Samurai Jack season.
MultiVersus Season 2 starts on July 23, and in addition to the new skins, the upcoming battle pass will have rewards such as banners, profile icons, and badges. It's also worth noting that with the battle pass, it will be possible to earn the currency used by MultiVersus to buy items in the game. This won't be the only new content awaiting in the next season of the fighting game, however, as MultiVersus is adding Ranked Mode with rewards, bringing new events, and adding another character, the iconic Beetlejuice, while the new Teen Titans Tower map arriving in the middle of the second season.
