Pokémon Sleep is celebrating its first anniversary with a significant addition to the game - the popular starter Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, will now be available for players to meet, photograph, and incorporate into their napping group of companions.
The initial reveal of Pokémon Sleep dates back to 2019, leaving many fans eager to understand the nature of this unique Pokémon experience. The app centers around a friendly Snorlax that has the ability to lull nearby Pokémon into a peaceful slumber. Users can track their own sleep patterns, and when they consistently enjoy a healthy amount of rest, they are rewarded with the appearance of more Pokémon in the area, giving them the opportunity to capture these sleepy creatures and add them to their permanent roster of helpers.
To commemorate its first anniversary, Pokémon Sleep is welcoming the beloved starter Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet - Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly - into the game. A charming trailer showcases the trio sneaking into the player's room to decorate for the celebratory event, with Fuecoco found in a state of One-Eyed Sleep, Sprigatito engaging in Tucked Sleep, and Quaxly in Seated Sleep. Alongside these new starters, a variety of additional Pokémon, including their evolutions, will be introduced to the game starting on July 15 at 3 pm local time, further enhancing the unique sleep-focused experience for players.

Sprigatito's evolved forms can be found at both Greengrass Isle and Lapis Lakeside, Fuecoco's at Cyan Beach and Taupe Hollow, and Quaxly's at Cyan Beach and Lapis Lakeside. To celebrate the game's first anniversary, players will also be rewarded with 1,050 sleep points that can be immediately redeemed for a range of helpful in-game items.
New Pokémon are regularly added to sleep-centric games like Pokémon Sleep and Pokémon GO, as well as the dental-focused Pokémon Smile, to maintain player engagement. These innovative takes on the Pokémon formula encourage healthy habits such as adequate sleep, exercise, and proper dental hygiene.
