Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have unveiled the upcoming July-August lineup of Tera Raids and Mass Outbreak events, highlighted by the Pikachu the Unrivaled raid featuring a unique gimmick that requires Grass-type attacks to overcome its starting raid shield, as well as new challenging Seven-Star Tera Raids for the powerful Dondozo and Dragonite, with the Pikachu raid running from July 11 to July 24, followed by Dondozo from July 25 to August 7 and Dragonite from August 22 to September 1.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have unveiled a lineup of exciting Tera Raid and Mass Outbreak events scheduled for the months of July and August. Among the highlights is the return of the beloved Pikachu the Unrivaled, which will be paired with a Mass Outbreak event running from July 11 to July 25. Additionally, two new challenging Seven-Star Tera Raids featuring the powerful Dondozo and Dragonite have been announced.

Pikachu, as the iconic mascot of the Pokemon franchise, has long been the subject of numerous tributes and homages over the years. From fan-created goods to special in-game appearances, the beloved Mouse Pokemon has cemented its status as one of the most recognizable figures in video game history, alongside the likes of Mario and other beloved Nintendo characters. In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Pikachu can be encountered throughout the Paldea region, and in 2023, a unique Tera-Water Pikachu variant emerged as one of the first Seven-Star Tera Raid challenges. This Pikachu the Unrivaled encounter features a distinctive gimmick of starting the battle with a raid shield, making Grass-type attacks the key to overcoming this formidable foe.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players who missed the previous opportunity to face off against the unique Pikachu the Unrivaled Tera Raid will soon have another chance, as the event is set to return from July 11 to July 24, accompanied by a Mass Outbreak featuring Pichu, Pikachu, Mimikyu, and the first chance to capture Alolan Raichu in the Terarium since Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Following the Pikachu event, a new Seven-Star Tera Raid against a Water-type Dondozo will run from July 25 to August 7, alongside a Tatsugiri Outbreak, providing a fresh challenge for players to overcome in the Paldea region.

Upcoming Seven-Star Tera Raid Challenges Unveiled for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Following the Dondozo and Tatsugiri events, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players will have another opportunity to encounter the elusive Ghimmighoul. From August 8 to 21, Chest Form Ghimmighoul will appear in One-Star to Five-Star Tera Raid dens, with an enhanced chance to encounter a Shiny variant in the Five-Star raids. This Ghimmighoul event will run concurrently with a Mass Outbreak featuring the rare Pokemon Wattrel, Riolu, and Comfey. Capping off the summer schedule, from August 22 to September 1, a formidable Tera-Normal Dragonite will emerge as a Seven-Star Tera Raid Boss. This will coincide with increased sightings of various pseudo-legendary Pokemon, including Larvitar, Goomy, Hisuian Sliggoo, and Beldum. Defeating these powerful Tera Raid bosses will grant players the coveted Mightiest Mark, along with the opportunity to capture specimens with their respective Hidden Abilities.

As fans eagerly await further news on the upcoming Pokemon Legends: Z-A, the scheduled Tera Raids and Mass Outbreaks should provide ample content to keep players engaged and entertained in the Paldea region throughout the summer months.
