Capcom Showcase 2024 - Trailers and Announcements Recap

During the Capcom Showcase 2024, the company unveiled two notable titles - a deluxe remaster of the zombie-infused action game Dead Rising, featuring enhanced graphics, updated character models, expanded language support, and various quality-of-life improvements, as well as a new action-adventure game called Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, which will include a special collaborative crossover with the acclaimed supernatural adventure Okami, offering exclusive weapons, costumes, and a unique soundtrack.

Capcom Showcase 2024: New Details Revealed for Upcoming Titles

During their Capcom Showcase 2024 livestream, Capcom revealed new trailers for several highly anticipated upcoming titles, including the recently announced Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, which showcased significant visual enhancements over the original as well as various quality-of-life improvements, and the action-adventure game Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, for which Capcom provided an extensive gameplay reveal and announced the availability of a playable demo across platforms such as Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.

The Capcom Showcase 2024 provided the first proper gameplay reveal of the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, showcasing a significant visual uplift over the original game, as well as the introduction of various quality-of-life improvements, while the action-adventure title Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess also received an extensive gameplay showcase, accompanied by the announcement of a playable demo now available across all platforms, including Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.

In the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, players can expect the following enhancements:

Improved Graphics:The game will showcase the Willamette Parkview Mall overrun by hordes of zombies in up to 4K resolution and 60 FPS.

Updated Character Models:The remaster features high-end character modeling for the protagonist Frank West, the Psychopaths, NPCs like Brad, Jessie, and Isabela, as well as the various survivors and the endless waves of zombies.

Expanded Language Support:The game will include voiceovers in nine languages - English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Castilian Spanish, and Russian. Additionally, subtitles will be available across 14 languages, including the aforementioned nine plus Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Polish, and Arabic.

In addition to the visual and language enhancements, the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster also includes the following quality-of-life improvements:

*Players can customize action shots with filters to capture the perfect glamorous zombie photos

*Auto-save functionality has been implemented

*All NPC and survivor interactions are now fully voiced
