There’s a certain thrill when a boundary-pushing manga takes that bold leap into anime — especially when it’s a title like Guilty Hole. Sensual, unsettling, and drenched in forbidden tension, this adult series is now officially headed to the small screen. And if you've been following it since its manga days, you already know: this isn’t just another guilty pleasure. It’s a narrative that digs into power, desire, and emotional restraint — or the lack of it!
Let’s talk about what this show really is, where it came from, and why all eyes are on its October premiere...
Originally published as『ギルティホール ~教え子しか指名できない店~』, Guilty Hole is a Japanese adult manga created by Kenty. It runs under the Comic G.O. (ゴイチ) label and is distributed by Waves Comics. It’s erotic, yes — but there’s a depth here that pushes it far beyond typical adult fare.
The story centers around Sasaki Mamoru(佐々木真守), a disillusioned high school teacher who’s been quietly fading into the background of his own life. Overlooked by students. Lost in routine. Hollowed out by disappointment. Then, one night... something happens.

The getabako (Japanese school shoe locker) — a mundane symbol of everyday school life — suddenly transforms. A strange selection panel appears on it. It gives Sasaki one eerie option: choose a student.
When he does, the chosen girl appears in his classroom... at night. Alone. Silent. As if summoned by his thoughts.
Is it real? A dream? A hallucination brought on by years of loneliness and quiet guilt? That uncertainty is where the story lives — somewhere between desire and dread. And no, it doesn’t hold back. This is a story that fully embraces its mature rating, but not mindlessly. It explores fantasy... and the price of indulging it.

After months of rumors and online chatter, it’s now official — Guilty Hole is being adapted into an anime. And it’s coming fast.
Broadcast Date: October 5, 2025 at 25:00 JST — which means 1:00 AM on October 6, in Japan’s traditional late-night broadcast schedule.
The adaptation is being released under the Anime Festa Original label, known for bringing edgy, adult manga to animation with dual versions: a censored TV version and a full premium “complete edition” for streaming.
The premium version will debut early — September 12, 2025 — exclusively online. This uncensored cut is expected to follow AnimeFesta’s tradition of not shying away from its source material’s erotic themes.
Confirmed production details include:
- Director / Series Composition: Miura Saburō(みうらさぶろう)
- Character Design: Natsuno Hamuto(なつのはむと)
- Theme Song: “Ai Mu Guilty (アイムギルティ)” by Asahi Tachibana(立花あさひ)
Voice Cast Highlights:
- Sasaki Mamoru – voiced by Koutarou Nishiyama(西山宏太朗)
- Additional characters voiced by Amai Mamu, Chiyoki Remon, and Kanna Natsuki — though some student names have not yet been officially romanized.

Let’s be real. Guilty Hole isn’t pretending to be “safe” content. It’s not here to comfort you. But that’s precisely why it works.
This series isn’t about glorifying taboo — it’s about exploring the line where curiosity turns into guilt, where loneliness morphs into desire, and where silence becomes complicit. Sasaki isn’t a predator. He’s broken. Human. Torn between what he wants and what he knows he shouldn’t do.
The question that lingers after every chapter — and hopefully every episode — is: What would you do if no one was watching...?
If the anime carries that same psychological ambiguity and emotional unease, it won’t just be titillating — it’ll be unforgettable.

If you’re the kind of viewer who likes your fiction neat, resolved, and morally upright... you might want to sit this one out.
But if you’re ready to confront messy, uncomfortable, fascinating human impulses through late-night anime — then yes, you should absolutely watch it. Because Guilty Hole is more than guilty pleasure. It’s a mirror... and you might not like what you see.
October's coming fast. And so is your next obsession. Just remember... you weren’t supposed to want this. But now you do!
