Emerging leaks hint at a prospective partnership between Fortnite and the popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) series. Given Fortnite's track record of successful collaborations that have introduced fresh skins and weapons into its battle royale arena, the rumored TMNT collaboration, which could bring new playable skins from the much-loved franchise, seems plausible. This article delves into the available information regarding this potential Fortnite-TMNT collaboration.

Fortnite x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Speculations Indicate a Potential TMNT Crossover

"FungusNinja" Code Indicates Possible Collaboration

Historically, leakers have delved into Fortnite's depths to unearth evidence supporting claims of upcoming events and collaborations. Similarly, renowned leakers, Sam and iFireMonkey, have provided information suggesting a forthcoming collaborative event in the popular battle royale game. They shared their insights on their official Twitter accounts, substantiating their leak claims.

A recent tweet by Sam unveiled a hidden file codenamed "FungusNinja," which could potentially be deciphered as "MutantNinja." This could hint at Fortnite's next collaboration event. However, Sam also noted the past inaccuracies of these filenames, thus their discovery doesn't definitively confirm the collaboration.

Adding to the speculation, leakers noted the presence of a sewer manhole in Slappy Shores emitting unusual sounds in the game, fueling suspicions of a collaboration between the two prominent franchises. Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey supported Sam's claim on Twitter, suggesting an encrypted set titled FungusNinja, which is 7MB in size.

TMNT's Recent Collaborative Ventures

Meanwhile, TMNT has been actively engaging in its collaborations, partnering with Fall Guys and the Street Fighter franchise recently. The TMNT franchise has also been releasing numerous DLCs for their games, the most recent being TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. Considering the developers' recent activity, it wouldn't be surprising if the renowned turtles made their way into the battle royale.
