Pearl Abyss, the powerhouse developer and publisher from Korea, recently showcased a series of impressive upcoming updates for Black Desert Mobile at the annual 2023 Heidel Ball community event. This includes the highly anticipated Land of the Morning Light expansion set to launch in September, and the eagerly awaited release of the “Choryeong” Awakened Woosa class, slated for Tuesday, September 26, 2023. The event also introduced Season Characters, an innovative feature that will be incorporated into the game on the same day, along with a variety of other intriguing enhancements.

Black Desert Mobile to Introduce the Land of the Morning Light Expansion

September 2023 will witness the launch of the most comprehensive expansion ever made for Black Desert Mobile. Named Land of the Morning Light, this much-acclaimed addition presents an extensive region inspired by the last Korean dynasty, the Joseon Dynasty.

The expansion offers players a chance to embark on quests that echo storybook tales, derived from traditional Korean legends. It also provides stunning landscapes to explore and formidable worldwide enemies to battle. Intriguingly, both new and returning players have the option to choose Land of the Morning Light as their initial adventure destination.

Choryeong Awakened Woosa Class Debuts at the 2023 Heidel Ball

Come Tuesday, September 26, 2023, Black Desert Mobile will welcome Choryeong, turning players into deadly angels. Choryeong, the awakened form of Woosa, a fearsome practitioner of the lethal Do from the Land of the Morning Light, introduces a fresh dynamic to the game. Choryeong fights adversaries using a mix of close and medium-range skills. Furthermore, the capacity to summon deadly flowers provides a strategic element, enabling players to hinder enemies and unleash formidable destructive force.

Black Desert Mobile Unveils Season Characters

Season Characters offer a quick progression path for new and returning Adventurers. These special characters accumulate contribution points at a faster rate than their regular counterparts. Besides, they gain access to unique rewards by completing quests in the Season Pass.

Upon completing all assignments and enhancing the unique Tuvala Gear parts, they can reveal the sought-after Chaos Gear and Chaos Accessories. It's crucial to acknowledge that each Family can only create one Season Character until the server maintenance scheduled for Tuesday, September 19th, 2023.

Pearl Abyss Announces More Quality-of-Life Improvements

In addition to these, Pearl Abyss disclosed the upcoming improvements to Black Desert Mobile, which will be implemented on Tuesday, September 12, 2023:

- Simplified Quests: Adventurers can now secure daily rewards by accomplishing a single Black Spirit Quest and Guild Quest each day, as opposed to the previous requirement of three Black Spirit Quests and three Guild Quests.

- Holy Vial Savings: Access to Hadum and Chaos regions will be simplified, as the Holy Vial of Light requirement will be abolished for Tier 1 buffs and minimized for Tier 2 and Tier 3 buffs.

- Improved Boss Rush: Boss Rush will be enhanced by allowing alternate Family characters to participate in these missions a specific number of times.

- Character Copy: The "Character Copy" feature will allow players to transfer contribution points earned from gear or level up to an alternate character.
