Shining Force II is one of my favorite all time games so I was very excited to see it officially come to Android. However, it's completely broken: Commercials don't stop even after paying. Controls are terrible. Requires online for no reason. Game freezes completely with no reason. Very frustrating and annoying experience...

Going to give this game 1 star at this point. The game itself is great. The problem is that when I tried to save before quitting the game glitched and rebooted, erasing hours of gameplay. I will give it one more try. If it works properly I will change the rating but for now a game that you can't save your progress on is trash.

Love these games but recently I've gotten to a point on the first game that it keeps crashing over and over, halfway through a battle. So 2 weeks after posting this I'm still not able to play because I can't get more than a few moves into my current battle when the game will freeze itself not even let me save and then crash. Update: after 2 months still unable to play without the game crashing. FIX IT?!

Played this for days and was past 2 caves and at least lvl 20 with all characters. Now i come back to play and all saves are gone. I normally use the in game saves and its been fine. Even had some of the ad slots saved but was missing days of progress. Both are gone completely. Look how many others have lost save time, i wouldnt play it unless you are willing to lose a bunch of time. I lost my entire save,imagine if it was close to the end. Shouldnt have to give age and sign to google everytime

This app goes the most egregious route by forcing you to watch a video to load a saved game. Its a pretty low thing to do for a feature that has to be built in to a game like this. I encountered this on the first game and I decided to uninstall it afterwards. I do not like having rpg game progress locked behind a monetization scheme. Shame. Shame. Shame on the developers for this. edit: nothing has changed. watch an ad to unlock the save feature and to even load a save.

Games run perfect, thus 4 stars. Just as great as original. Touch screen controls are good, but for controller support... unfortunately the directional doesn't work with my razer kishi. I wish they had a way to configure the dpad. I have the paid version. The ad version was way too many ads. I have to login to Google play every single time I load the app to verify its the paid version in order to disable ads...that should only be a one time verification. So that's annoying.
