Players can choose from 8 great civilizations, such as the Romans, British, and Japanese, and participate in historic campaigns. The game features PvP combat, where players can raid enemy cities, form alliances, and engage in 50-on-50 Alliance warfare. Players can also research technologies, develop their economy, and upgrade their armies. The game includes events based on historical events, with limited-time goals and rare rewards.
