LOVE IS TRAUMA is a short, reality-show style dating sim that tasks players with shepherding a manufactured romance through oddball, safe-but-stressful trials and choices. The game condenses a branching narrative into roughly 15,000 words and one to two hours of playtime, making it a quick, replayable experience for fans of character-driven interactive stories. Players choose how their contestant responds to challenges, face consequences, and unlock one of five endings; note the game includes content warnings for flashing lights, loud noises, insects, alcohol and tobacco references and a tongue-in-cheek all-inclusive waiver.

Development Team

LOVE IS TRAUMA was created by a small indie team led by Robobarbie (director, programmer, sprite artist and voice), with writing contributions from Allie Vera, Cérise (languidnimbus) and Destini, additional voice work from Mike Young and musical/SFX support from Faefield Productions. QA and support roles were handled by several contributors, reflecting a compact, collaborative build completed in a short development window.
