It keeps shutting off playbacks after a minute or two. Not really recommended to use on mobile. Wish they fix this. Re: I was wrong... They just want you to pay for what you set up... Just use the web app... Don't install if you don't wanna pay. NORMAL playback should be free at least. It's just basic.

I don't have any other streaming services. But without selecting some others services it won't you let you pass the page. Y ?? Even if you try to select something it just clear the page and again to select it. It's an endless loop that I can't go forward. This version i don't like as I can't get in.

I needed a way of being able to take the kids favourite films on car journeys without needing to take 100s of dvds with us. Plex allows us to do this giving us our entire film library to be able to be taken with us on a tablet. The large comparability of devices supported by Plex made it easy to get devices and preload with films before journeys. since then we have used Plex to run our home media server as well and have never looked back. would 100% recommend Plex to others.

I have been using Plex for many years. It was just a library application. A long time ago, I had a lifetime subscription and somehow got lost. It's not a big deal since I am truly enjoying it, and I tend to use it more than other streaming apps

lately the movies stop when the commercial starts, freezes. never starts back up. or even after movie starts ! I wish it went back to not doing this. Because the movies and TV are just fine.... As of today, September 25,2023 , the first commercial freezes and doesn't start again. I am going to discontinue trying to use this app and uninstall it.

There's a few noobs on here complaining that they are having troubles with it but it's an amazing app if you are slightly computer illiterate and know how to maintain a PC. You will have a better experience than all of the streaming platforms provide. If you have an AV receiver and want quality, Plex is a must. Flawlessly plays Dolby TrueHD/Atmos/DTS X audio, which Netflix, Amazon etc cannot. It's probably not aimed at the novice user, more aimed at people that demand exceptionally high quality.
